Season Differences
- In the second season Baloo is slightly taller and darker with a slightly deeper voice than he had in the previous season.
- Kaa is longer in the second season and his voice does not change. He also has almost mastered hypnosis and as of Birthday Snake is a year older.
- Shere Khan receives the least changes as he is slightly taller with brighter skin but still retains the same voice.
- Bagheera's voice gets thiner and he is a lighter black shade.
- Louie's crest disappears and his hair goes down. Like most cubs with exception of Kaa, Baloo, and Shere Khan, Louie gets another voice actor.
- Hathi's skin is lighter than the previous season.

Famous quotes containing the words season and/or differences:
“Let us have a good many maples and hickories and scarlet oaks, then, I say. Blaze away! Shall that dirty roll of bunting in the gun-house be all the colors a village can display? A village is not complete, unless it have these trees to mark the season in it. They are important, like the town clock. A village that has them not will not be found to work well. It has a screw loose, an essential part is wanting.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“The mother must teach her son how to respect and follow the rules. She must teach him how to compete successfully with the other boys. And she must teach him how to find a woman to take care of him and finish the job she began of training him how to live in a family. But no matter how good a job a woman does in teaching a boy how to be a man, he knows that she is not the real thing, and so he tends to exaggerate the differences between men and women that she embodies.”
—Frank Pittman (20th century)
