Early Years
Haye attended high school at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He did not start playing football until his junior year, but still earned earned first-team All-State honors at offensive guard as a junior and senior. Aside from his athletic achievements, he also performed well academically, graduating with a 4.5 grade point average.
