Jonathan Papelbon

Jonathan Robert Papelbon (/ˈpæpəlbɒn/; born November 23, 1980) is an American professional baseball pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball. Before joining the Phillies, Papelbon played with the Boston Red Sox from 2005–2011.

On August 21, 2007, Papelbon recorded his 30th save of the season, becoming the first Boston pitcher to ever have two 30-save seasons. As of the 2012 season, Papelbon is Boston's franchise leader in career saves.
