Johnny Jeter

Johnny Jeter

John "Johnny" Jeter (born December 14, 1981) is an American professional wrestler best known for his appearances in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as Spirit Squad member Johnny on the Raw brand in 2006.

Jeter was trained by professional wrestler Nick Dinsmore, and made his wrestling debut in 2001. He began working for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), which led to him signing a developmental contract with WWE in 2003. In 2004, while at OVW, he began competing in tag team competition with Matt Cappotelli where they were known as the Thrillseekers. The team won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship, but would lose it in April 2005. Three months later, Jeter focused on singles competition, winning the OVW Heavyweight Championship, and disbanding his association with Cappotelli. After losing the OVW Heavyweight Championship, Jeter became part of the Spirit Squad. The team debuted on Raw in January 2006, and won the World Tag Team Championship once.

The following year, Jeter had brief stints with OVW, SmackDown, and ECW, and was later released from his WWE contract before January 2008. After his release, he returned to OVW.
