John Wesley Fry (December 5, 1876 – December 23, 1946) was a politician in Alberta, Canada and a mayor of Edmonton.

Famous quotes containing the words wesley and/or fry:

    Jesus, Lover of my soul, Let me to thy bosom fly,
    While the nearer waters roll, While the tempest still is high;
    Hide me, O my Saviour, hide, Till the storm of life be past;
    Safe into the haven guide, O receive my soul at last.
    —Charles Wesley (1707–1788)

    Comedy is an escape, not from truth but from despair; a narrow escape into faith.
    —Christopher Fry (b. 1907)
