John Linder
John Elmer Linder (born September 9, 1942) is the former U.S. Representative for Georgia's 7th congressional district between 1993 and 1997, serving from 2003 until 2011. Previously, Linder served the Georgia's 11th congressional district from 1997 to 2003 and Georgia's 4th congressional district between 1993 and 1997. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Linder announced that he would retire from Congress at the end of the 111th Congress.
