Post-managerial Career
In 2002, Boles was hired by the Los Angeles Dodgers as Senior Advisor of Baseball Operations. In 2005, he was hired by the Mariners as Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Player Personnel. In 2012, he rejoined the Kansas City Royals and now serves as a senior advisor to general manager Dayton Moore in player development.
