John Bell (actor)
John Anthony Bell, AO, OBE (born 1 November 1940) is an Australian actor and theatre director.
Bell was born 1 November 1940 in the town of Maitland, New South Wales where he was educated at the Marist Brothers.
In a career of acting in, directing, and managing theatres, Bell has been instrumental in shaping the Australian theatre.
