Beck married Barbara Ann Burke of Ferron, Utah in May 2004. The couple have three sons, Ty, Preston, and Grady. Beck now resides in Ashburn, Virginia. He is an Eagle Scout. He is a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; he served on a mission to Lisbon, Portugal, from 2000 through 2002 and speaks fluent Portuguese.
