Awards and Recognition
Beazley was elected as a Fellow of the British Academy in 1927. He was knighted in 1949. In 1954, he was elected a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was appointed to the Order of the Companions of Honour in the 1959 New Year Honours "For services to scholarship".
