Joey Manley

Joey Manley is best known as the founder and publisher of the webcomics site Modern Tales, as well as numerous other web-specific entertainment properties. These properties include the subscription webcomics sites Serializer, Girlamatic, and Graphic Smash, and the webcomics hosting service Webcomics Nation. He has also hosted talkaboutcomics since 2001. Talkaboutcomics started as a podcast where Manley interviewed webcomics artists, and later became a webcomics forum and blog. Manley co-hosted the "Diva Lea Show" podcast with Lea Hernandez starting in 2003.

He previously worked on the Webby-winning freespeech.org, which he helped start in 1995. He is also the author of one novel, The Death of Donna-May Dean, published by St. Martin's Press in 1991.
