Many intervening extra Scooby Doo series came before the current series, such as The New Mysteries of Scooby Doo and the Scooby and Scrappy show. There is a new Scooby Doo movie that premiered on Cartoon Network titled Scooby-Doo and the Curse of the Lake Monster. The first Scooby Doo series succeeded but it only had two seasons.
