Joe Piripitzi was the first drummer for the Australian rock band The Living End. He played in the band from 1994 to 1996. The studio albums featuring Piripitzi are Hellbound and It's For Your Own Good.
He was also a drummer for another Melbourne band, the 77-punk-influenced H-Block 101. This was for a short period immediately after his time with The Living End (October 1996 to mid-1998). He appeared on their acclaimed 2nd album "No Room For Apathy" in 1997 and the "Synergy" EP in 1998 (recorded in January of that year, but released after Joe's departure a few months later) .
Joe now plays in the Australian band 'Thee Psycho Delmatics' under the stage name Joe Evil
Famous quotes containing the word joe:
“This might be the end of the world. If Joe lost we were back in slavery and beyond help. It would all be true, the accusations that we were lower types of human beings. Only a little higher than apes. True that we were stupid and ugly and lazy and dirty and, unlucky and worst of all, that God Himself hated us and ordained us to be hewers of wood and drawers of water, forever and ever, world without end.”
—Maya Angelou (b. 1928)
