Death and Legacy
Joe Albertson died on January 20, 1993 at the age of 86. He is interred at Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
As a tribute to Albertson, a television special about his life was aired on KTVB, the NBC affiliate based in Boise, Idaho.
