J.O.B. Squad

The J.O.B. Squad was a professional wrestling faction. The theme of the group was that each member was a perennial enhancement talent, in which they lost to established or up-and-coming wrestlers.

The acronym "J.O.B." was said to stand for "Just Over Broke", a reference to wrestlers' penchant for appearing in preliminary matches and, therefore, being on the low end of the payscale.

The J.O.B. Squad wore shirts resembling NWO's shirts as a parody of the many NWO factions and offshoots in World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Famous quotes containing the words job and/or squad:

Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone when the morning stars sang together and all the heavenly beings shouted for joy?
    Bible: Hebrew, Job 38:4 -7.

    God, to Job.

Americans think of themselves collectively as a huge rescue squad on twenty-four-hour call to any spot on the globe where dispute and conflict may erupt.
    Eldridge Cleaver (b. 1935)
