Job ( /ˈdʒoʊb/; Hebrew: אִיּוֹב, Iyyov ʾIyyôḇ) is the central character of the Book of Job in the Hebrew Bible. Job (Arabic: أيّوب, Ayyūb‎) is considered a prophet in Islam.
