Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate (born in Norman, Oklahoma, on July 25, 1968) is a Chickasaw classical composer and pianist. He is one of a handful of American Indian classical composers, and his compositions are based on American Indian history and culture. In 2012 a new commission by Impichchaachaaha' Tate for the string quartet ETHEL will be premiered at the Park Avenue Armory .
