Athletics
The sports teams are known as the Jayhawks. Jericho High School has long-standing rivalries with neighboring Great Neck South High School, Long Beach High School, Syosset High School and Roslyn High School. They hold a top spot every year for the boys volleyball, boys badminton, girls badminton, girls soccer, boys golf, boys soccer, boys basketball, girls volleyball, tennis, wrestling, swimming, and many more. The 2011 and 2012 Boys Varsity Soccer teams won the New York State Championship.
