Jeffrey Vitter
Jeffrey Scott Vitter (born 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is provost and executive vice chancellor and Roy A. Roberts Distinguished Professor at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. As provost, Dr. Vitter is the chief academic and operations officer for the Lawrence and Edwards campuses. He oversees strategic planning and implementation, which focus on excellence in four key areas: energizing the educational environment, elevating doctoral education, driving discovery and innovation, and engaging scholarship for public impact.
