Recalls

347,000 vehicles are recalled for the rear control arms rusting and breaking: possibly causing crashes and possible deaths, according to the NHTSA

On November 9, 2012, Chrysler announced the recall of more than 900,000 Jeeps worldwide because the front and side airbags, as well as pretensioners which tighten seat belt, may deploy unexpectedly while driving. It affects the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Libertys from the 2002 to 2004 model years. A total of 744,822 vehicles affected are in the United States.

Famous quotes containing the word recalls:

Reckoned physiologically, everything ugly weakens and afflicts man. It recalls decay, danger, impotence; he actually suffers a loss of energy in its presence. The effect of the ugly can be measured with a dynamometer. Whenever man feels in any way depressed, he senses the proximity of something “ugly.” His feeling of power, his will to power, his courage, his pride—they decline with the ugly, they increase with the beautiful.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

Fear of error which everything recalls to me at every moment of the flight of my ideas, this mania for control, makes men prefer reason’s imagination to the imagination of the senses. And yet it is always the imagination alone which is at work.
    Louis Aragon (1897–1982)
