Comic
An uncredited, unfinished comic based on the series was once published in the French comic magazine Pif Gadget #922. Strangely enough, the 13-page adventure ended on a cliffhanger, the next issue did not include the follow-up story, and in the end, the conclusion to that story was never published in Pif Gadget. It included characters created specifically for the comic, such as a white-haired young sorceress called Algora who was "an ally of Saw Boss". The story, entitled "Le Sortilège d'Algora" ("Algora's Spell") was later re-printed and completed in Poche Junior, a free supplement for younger readers to the French television listing magazine Télé Poche, in several installments: Poche Junior #1 (May 1987), Poche Junior #2 (May 1987), Poche Junior #17 (August 1987), Poche Junior n° 23 (October 1987), and Poche Junior n° 25 (October 1987).

Famous quotes containing the word comic:
“Wit is often concise and sparkling, compressed into an original pun or metaphor. Brevity is said to be its soul. Humor can be more leisurely, diffused through a whole story or picture which undertakes to show some of the comic aspects of life. What it devalues may be human nature in general, by showing that certain faults or weaknesses are universal. As such it is kinder and more philosophic than wit which focuses on a certain individual, class, or social group.”
—Thomas Munro (18971974)
“The real charm of the United States is that it is the only comic country ever heard of.”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
“Of course, the comic figure in all this is the long-suffering Mr. Wilkes. Mr. Wilkeswho cant be mentally faithful to his wife and wont be unfaithful to her technically.”
—Sidney Howard (18911939)
