Personal Life
Barbree has been married since 1960 to the former Jo Reisinger, whom he met while covering her participation in Florida beauty pageants. They live near Kennedy Space Center at Merritt Island, and have three adult children (Steve, Alicia, and Karla) and six grandchildren (Michelle, Bethanie, Bryce, Brian, Nicole, and Jake). Their son Scott died in infancy following a premature birth.
