The Maze Runner Trilogy

The Maze Runner: The Maze Runner is about a boy named Thomas. He gets sent to a maze and he only remembers one thing: his name. When Thomas arrives at the Glade, there are many other boys. They tell him little about the Glade. The first day, Thomas starts to get used to things. He goes to all the different Keepers for each job, and picks which job he likes. When the first day is over, he goes to sleep. The next day when he wakes up, the alarm rings. It's the alarm for a new kid, but they only get a new kid every month. Everybody crowds around the Box where the kid comes up. When the Box arrives, they peek inside. Its a girl. And she has an important message. Nothing will be the same again because Thomas feels a mysterious strong bond and they have a unique way of communicating. Then throughout the beginning of the story Thomas has a desire to become a runner- as if it is his duty. A runner is one of the various jobs that the boys do, except you have to be of a specific criteria to be one (in other words a newbie can not join). In spite of the challenges Thomas faces, he manages to climb the social ladder until he is of importance in the group. Throughout the novel friends are made, people are betrayed, loyalties will be trusted, suspense will be lifted but only to be brought down again. Will the secrets be revealed though?

The Scorch Trials: The Scorch Trials is the second book in the Maze Runner trilogy. The story continues and this time, Thomas is sent to the Scorch. Will he survive the Scorch?

The Death Cure: The final book in the Maze Runner trilogy. Can Thomas escape WICKED's grasp?
