James Adams is described as being well built, with blue eyes, and blond hair, and being dead on 6 feet (1.8 m) tall (as described at the beginning of Shadow Wave) and stocky build. He has been known to acquire weight easily, due to his tendency to not care about what he is eating and lack of enthusiasm towards exercise. James easily gets girlfriends on missions and on campus due to his tendency to get off with every girl he sees. It is revealed that this was an implication of James Bond's early life.
