Personality
Jack is known for being a klutz. Much of the character's humor is derived from slapstick comedy. He is extremely clumsy and accident-prone, and is well known for his comic pratfalls. Jack also is a sort of ladies' man, but is also, however, kind-hearted and demonstrates loyalty and a willingness to stand up for his friends and those he cares about. Despite having been a boxer in the navy, he often cowered and allowed other men to bully him. Jack has his own bedroom while the two girls share a second bedroom. Jack has a poster of The Beatles, as they appeared late in their career, hanging on the wall above his bed.

Famous quotes containing the word personality:
“The child begins life as a pleasure-seeking animal; his infantile personality is organized around his own appetites and his own body. In the course of his rearing the goal of exclusive pleasure seeking must be modified drastically, the fundamental urges must be subject to the dictates of conscience and society, urges must be capable of postponement and in some instances of renunciation completely.”
—Selma H. Fraiberg (20th century)
“What we ought to see in the agonies of puberty is the result of the conditioning that maims the female personality in creating the feminine.”
—Germaine Greer (b. 1939)
