Jack Saints

Jack Saints is a garage Punk/Rock 'n Roll band formed in Palm Springs, California, in 1995. In 1996 they moved to San Francisco and became part of the underground music scene there, releasing three singles, three albums, and appearing on many compilations. Bill Randt of the New Bomb Turks joined the band in 2001, replacing original drummer, Regal. The Jack Saints' current lineup consists of Mike Desert on guitar and vocals, Nick Nava on bass and vocals, and new drummer, RD.

Their latest CD "Rock and Roll Saved Our Lives...But Now It's Trying To Kill Us!" was released by Scarey Records in 2006. They are reportedly working on a new album, with a rumored release date of early 2023.

Famous quotes containing the words jack and/or saints:

I hope you ain’t going to blow up my boat, Mr. Johnson. Like my wife, she’s not much, but she’s all I have.
—Martin Berkeley. Jack Arnold. Lucas (Nestor Paiva)

Is America a land of God where saints abide for ever? Where golden fields spread fair and broad, where flows the crystal river? Certainly not flush with saints, and a good thing, too, for the saints sent buzzing into man’s ken now are but poor- mouthed ecclesiastical film stars and cliché-shouting publicity agents.
Their little knowledge bringing them nearer to their ignorance,
Ignorance bringing them nearer to death,
But nearness to death no nearer to God.
    Sean O’Casey (1884–1964)
