Famous quotes containing the word growth:

Unlimited economic growth has the marvelous quality of stilling discontent while maintaining privilege, a fact that has not gone unnoticed among liberal economists.
    Noam Chomsky (b. 1928)

    Ida M. Tarbell (1857–1944)

Interpretation is the evidence of growth and knowledge, the latter through sorrow— that great teacher.
    Eleonora Duse (1858–1924)
