J. C. Tran - Early Life

Early Life

Tran was born in Vietnam, and is the youngest of eight children of Vietnamese parents. When he was two years old, his family moved to the United States where later he would receive a degree in Business Management Information Systems from California State University at Sacramento.

Tran built his bankroll playing the $9/$18 game at Capitol Casino in Sacramento, CA. J.C. has since noted that it has become too much of an action game to eke out a positive gain.

Famous quotes containing the words early and/or life:

We passed the Children’s Bureau bill calculated to prevent children from being employed too early in factories.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)

Life! Life! Don’t let us go to life for our fulfilment or our experience. It is a thing narrowed by circumstances, incoherent in its utterance, and without that fine correspondence of form and spirit which is the only thing that can satisfy the artistic and critical temperament. It makes us pay too high a price for its wares, and we purchase the meanest of its secrets at a cost that is monstrous and infinite.
    Oscar Wilde (1854–1900)
