The Peaceman Foundation
Sir Ivan is the founder of The Peaceman Foundation, a non-profit charity that battles hatred, violence and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). As its spokesperson, he dresses as a caped character named Peaceman. Sir Ivan has stated he was inspired to adopt the Peaceman persona after the homophobic murder of Matt Shephard, the racist murder of James Byrd Jr., continuous suicide bombings in Israel and the events of September 11, 2001. "Then the world finally woke up and realized that evil is evil, and that there is right and wrong, and there are the bad guys versus the good guys," said Sir Ivan.
