International Career
Pelizzoli made his international debut in 2003, and was one of three overage players representing Italy at the 2004 Summer Olympics, ahead Marco Amelia as first choice goalkeeper. He also played at 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, ahead Generoso Rossi and Vitangelo Spadavecchia as first choice.
