Personal and Sponsorship
Folau was formerly an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He later began attended an Assemblies of God fellowship.
In 2009 Folau signed a sponsorship deal with Adidas, replacing rugby union convert Mark Gasnier as the company's rugby league representative. Around the same time he also signed a two-year endorsement deal with Powerade, featuring in the product's television advertising.
