Iron Thunderhorse - Controversy and Incarceration

Controversy and Incarceration

Allegations have been made that Iron Thunderhorse is not truly Native American; however, no evidence has been offered with any of these allegations.

Iron Thunderhorse has been incarcerated by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice since 1978, inmate number 00624391. His projected release date is 4-24-2022. In 1977, he was convicted of the charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated rape, aggravated robbery; and in 1991 convicted of a charge of escape. Requests for official details of the crimes of which he has been convicted and the court cases involved have been denied or the records have been lost.

Famous quotes containing the word controversy:

And therefore, as when there is a controversy in an account, the parties must by their own accord, set up for right Reason, the Reason of some Arbitrator, or Judge, to whose sentence, they will both stand, or their controversy must either come to blows, or be undecided, for want of a right Reason constituted by Nature; so is it also in all debates of what kind soever.
    Thomas Hobbes (1579–1688)
