Content

According to Kaiser Kuo, the internet in China is largely used for entertainment purposes foremost, being referred as the "entertainment superhighway", but also serves as the first public forum for Chinese citizens to freely exchange their ideals. Famous quotes containing the word content:

No healthy man, in his secret heart, is content with his destiny. He is tortured by dreams and images as a child is tortured by the thought of a state of existence in which it would live in a candy store and have two stomachs.
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)

A person of mature years and ripe development, who is expecting nothing from literature but the corroboration and renewal of past ideas, may find satisfaction in a lucidity so complete as to occasion no imaginative excitement, but young and ambitious students are not content with it. They seek the excitement because they are capable of the growth that it accompanies.
    Charles Horton Cooley (1864–1929)

Know how to be content and you will never be disgraced; practice self-restraint and you will never be in danger.
    —Chinese proverb.

    Laozi.
