Internet Content Rating Association

Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) was an international non-profit organization with offices in the United States and the United Kingdom. In October 2010, the ICRA rating system, and the organization, was permanently discontinued.

Its mission was to help users find the content they want, to trust what they find and to filter out what they do not want for themselves or for their children. ICRA also acted as a forum through which both policy and technical infrastructure are defined to help shape the way that the World Wide Web and content distribution channels work.

Famous quotes containing the words content and/or association:

I am content to live it all again,
And yet again, if it be life to pitch
Into the frog-spawn of a blind man’s ditch.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

It is not merely the likeness which is precious ... but the association and the sense of nearness involved in the thing ... the fact of the very shadow of the person lying there fixed forever! It is the very sanctification of portraits I think—and it is not at all monstrous in me to say ... that I would rather have such a memorial of one I dearly loved, than the noblest Artist’s work ever produced.
    Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806–1861)
