The Purpose

Home of the technology standards of national education (New Jersey), and the status of "applied research" in the field of "technology education" (caret), and the computerization of national education (Nick), meet ISTE its mission through knowledge generation, professional development, and advocacy. ISTE also represents its members and the media with regard to educational issues of national scope through ISTE-DC. ISTE supports a global network of subsidiaries and special interest groups (SIGs).

And provided leadership in the provision of ISTE standards for administrators, teachers and students for more than 10 years. ISTE released NETS • S Update Conference in 2007, Nick in Atlanta, GA. These standards refreshed framework for technology standards for students. Has been updated NETS • T] and launched the Nick 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. ISTE also has branches in all parts of the world of local, regional, and national state.
