History
The International School of the Peninsula (ISTP) was established in 1979 as the Peninsula French-American School (PFAS), founded by Charlotte de Géry. In 1996, the school added the Mandarin Chinese-English program as well as a middle school and changed its name to become the International School of the Peninsula.
In September 2000, ISTP moved the elementary and middle school programs into the newly built Cohn Campus.
ISTP celebrated its 30th anniversary during the 2009–2010 school year and marked the 15th anniversary of the Mandarin Chinese-English immersion program in 2011.
