Campus

ISD is based on 4 acres (16,000 m2) of land overlooking the Atlantic coast. The campus includes a library, two computer labs, art and music wings, two playgrounds as well as a multi-purpose gymnasium all based around a soccer field and track. The American Club located next to the school, allows students to play various sports, including swimming, tennis and basketball as well as a small snack bar. The Elementary part of the school was relocated to its current position, next to the gymnasium, on November 26, 2007. As of August 2007, the school had an estimated 300 students. Before the 12-13 school year, the school added a building to the campus. The top flooor consists of most of the middle school classes. The third floor is for the high schoolers. The second floor includes the computer labs and various elementary classes, and the first floor consists of all elementary classes. French classes, which are mandatory for all students because it is Senegal's official language, are are on all of the floors.
