Environmental Projects
InterCity Group has embarked on a number of sustainability projects since 1998.
In May 2007 Intercity joined Landcare Research's carboNZero programme but withdrew when the New Zealand Government introduced an Emissions Trading Scheme.
In 2010 InterCity's Bay of Islands operations were awarded an Enviro Gold rating by Qualmark. Its Coaching division currently holds a Qualmark Enviro Bronze rating.
