Interactive Glide

In cycling, an interactive glide gear system is an extension of hyperglide, in which both sides of the bicycle gear sprockets are physically contoured to improve upshifting.

Interactive glide sprockets are slightly thicker than hyperglide ones, and some Shimano Hyperglide chains may hang up if used on an interactive glide cassette. The slightly wider interactive glide chains work on either type, as do SRAM chains.

Famous quotes containing the word glide:

Novels so often provide an anodyne and not an antidote, glide one into torpid slumbers instead of rousing one with a burning brand.
    Virginia Woolf (1882–1941)
