Intelligent despatch is an artificial intelligence system that automates and controls the allocation of resources for services. Applications range from courier services to taxi services to emergency services to repair services to battlefield management. An example of an intelligent despatch system is the "Larry" (previously called AIBA for Advanced Information Based Allocation) system pioneered by eCourier.
Famous quotes containing the word intelligent:
“The best of America drifts to Paris. The American in Paris is the best American. It is more fun for an intelligent person to live in an intelligent country. France has the only two things toward which we drift as we grow older—intelligence and good manners.”
—F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)
