Admission
Admission is given on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidate in SEE-UPTU (Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Admission Test). This exam is conducted by Gautam Buddh Technical University (erstwhile UPTU). Around 250,000 students appear in this exam every year seeking admission to more than 500 engineering as well as management colleges affiliated to GBTU. IET Lucknow ranks 2nd amongst these 500 odd engineering colleges.
