Present Day
The IAM operates a number of branches across the UK, providing members with networking opportunities, as well as delivering qualifications which are recognised across England, Wales and Northern Ireland by Qfqual, DCELLS and CCEA respectively. IAM qualifications are delivered by around 250 IAM-accredited centres, offering campus-based and distance learning options to IAM students. In addition, the IAM offers independent study options to unattached students. The IAM has students working in business, commerce, industry, local and central government in the UK and abroad, for example in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Gulf, the West Indies and Southern Africa.

Famous quotes containing the words present and/or day:
“Art for art’s sake? I should think so, and more so than ever at the present time. It is the one orderly product which our middling race has produced. It is the cry of a thousand sentinels, the echo from a thousand labyrinths, it is the lighthouse which cannot be hidden ... it is the best evidence we can have of our dignity.”
—E.M. (Edward Morgan)
“A woman spent all Christmas Day in a telephone box without ringing anyone. If someone comes to phone, she leaves the box, then resumes her place afterwards. No one calls her either, but from a window in the street, someone watched her all day, no doubt since they had nothing better to do. The Christmas syndrome.”
—Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)
