Ingrid Jensen

Ingrid Jensen (b., January 12, 1969, North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian jazz trumpet player.

Jensen is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and Malaspina University in Nanaimo, British Columbia. She has been nominated for several Juno awards, winning one with her first release, Vernal Fields (featuring Lenny White, George Garzone and Larry Grenadier). Ingrid spends much of her time touring with her own projects, playing with the Grammy award winning Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra and guesting at prestigious universities around the world. Her sister, Christine Jensen, plays the saxophone and occasionally performs with Ingrid.
