Incest: From A Journal of Love - Plot Summary

Plot Summary

The book covers the conclusion of her and Henry's relationship with June, as well as her relationships with her analysts. Among other events, she re-establishes contact with her absent father JoaquĆn Nin, becomes pregnant with Miller's child and eventually has an abortion in her sixth month of pregnancy. Famous quotes containing the words plot and/or summary:

The westward march has stopped, upon the final plains of the Pacific; and now the plot thickens ... with the change, the pause, the settlement, our people draw into closer groups, stand face to face, to know each other and be known.
    Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)

I have simplified my politics into an utter detestation of all existing governments; and, as it is the shortest and most agreeable and summary feeling imaginable, the first moment of an universal republic would convert me into an advocate for single and uncontradicted despotism. George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)
