Improvised Action Collective (impAct Collective) was a South Florida-based anarchist collective. ImpAct has been involved with a variety of projects in the South Florida community since late 2005.
While many of the projects created by the collective are still active, Improvised Action ceased operations in early 2008 after a falling out of the founding membership of the collective.
Famous quotes containing the words improvised and/or action:
“Many a time I have seen my mother leap up from the dinner table to engage the swarming flies with an improvised punkah, and heard her rejoice and give humble thanks simultaneously that Baltimore was not the sinkhole that Washington was.”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
“All real freedom springs from necessity, for it can be gained only through the exercise of the individual will, and that will can be roused to energetic action only by the force of necessity acting upon it from the outside to spur it to effort.”
—Anna C. Brackett (1836–1911)
