The song was later covered on the album "Smiling Pets" in 1998. Another cover was performed by Reigning Sound with a slightly altered title ("Waiting for the Day") on their 2001 album, Break Up, Break Down. The song was later covered again, but this time by Wilson on Pet Sounds Live. This was the second live album released by Wilson.
