Verbs
Although other word classes in Ilokano are not as morphologically diverse in form, verbs are comparably as morphologically complex as the Indo-European languages of Latin, ancient Greek and Sanskrit. Ilokano verb forms are characterized by reduplication and heavy prefixation.
