Idaho's 1st Congressional District

Idaho's 1st congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Idaho. Beginning with the 2012 election cycle the district will continue to encompass the western and northern parts of the state, but will lose almost all of its Boise precincts to the 2nd district due to redistricting. The Boise suburbs, including Nampa, Caldwell, and Meridian, will remain in the district. The district also includes Lewiston, Moscow, and Coeur d'Alene.

The district is currently represented by Republican Raul Labrador who defeated Democratic incumbent Walt Minnick in 2010.
