Idaho Wolves

Idaho Wolves were an American soccer team, founded in 2004. The team was a member of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, for just one season. They finished their one-and-only campaign with a quite dismal playing record, losing each of their fifteen competitive games, and scoring just 8 goals, while conceding 61.

They played their home games at the soccer-specific Idaho Wolves Stadium in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The club’s colors were red and white.

Famous quotes containing the word wolves:

[Men say:] “Don’t you know that we are your natural protectors?” But what is a woman afraid of on a lonely road after dark? The bears and wolves are all gone; there is nothing to be afraid of now but our natural protectors.
Frances A. Griffin, U.S. suffragist. As quoted in History of Woman Suffrage, vol. 4, ch. 19, by Susan B. Anthony and Ida Husted Harper (1902)
