Waqar A Malik
Appointed as the Chief Executive of ICI Pakistan Limited on October 1, 2005, Waqar Malik has over 25 years of experience with the Group in senior management positions.
His other engagements outside ICI Pakistan Limited are: Director on the Central Board of the State Bank of Pakistan, Director Pakistan Business Council, non-executive Director on the Boards of Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited and IGI Insurance Limited. A former President of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI), Waqar is also a member of the Board of Governors of LUMS along with being a trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation.
An alumnus of Harvard Business School and INSEAD, Waqar is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
